Integrating a payment provider with Breadstack - Moneris or Payfirma/Merrco

Integrating a payment provider for each of your Breadstack stores ensures that when customers pay by credit card, the payments are routed correctly.

Breadstack currently integrates with two payment providers: Payfirma/Merrco and Moneris.

Please note that if your site is on WordPress and is not integrated with Cova or Greenline, you cannot manage your Merrco/Payfirma account within Breadstack. Instead, you can manage the integration directly in WordPress.

Setting up a new integration

Note: In order to set up a payment integration, you'll need two pieces of information from your Moneris or Payfirma (Merrco) account:

  • For Moneris, your Store ID and API Token
  • For Payfirma/Merrco, your Client ID and Client Secret. You can find these by accessing your PayHQ credentials within your PayHQ account (Settings > eCommerce).
  1. Go to Settings > Retail > Integrations and select either Moneris or Payfirma/Merrco from the options.
  2. Find the name of the store you want to integrate.
    1. Note that if the store is already connected to a different payment gateway, creating a new connection will replace the old one.
  3. Click Connect.
  4. Enter the required keys for your provider (see Note above).
  5. Click Save.
If your connection was successful, you'll see it listed. From here, you can:
  1. Use the green Connection toggle to temporarily disable the integration (simply click the toggle again to re-enable it)
  2. Delete the connection altogether (you can set up the integration again at any time, using the above process)
  3. Edit your integration if your payment provider details change
