Managing points and rewards

Managing points and rewards

If your store rewards shoppers with loyalty points, you can use Breadstack to track and manage each customer's point balance.

Note: Points are only available if the store admin has installed the "Loyalty Points" plugin in WordPress.

Assign points to a new customer

You can grant points to a new customer when you create their profile in Customers > Add New Customer. At the far right of the form, you'll see a Starting Points field. Simply input the desired number of points here.

Adjust an existing customer's point balance

  1. Go to Customers > All Customers and locate the customer's profile.
  2. Open the profile and scroll to the bottom of the page. Select Adjust Points.
  3. Here, you'll be able to add or remove points, or set the overall point balance.

Alternatively, you can manage points in the Loyalty module:

  1. Go to Promotion > Points & Rewards. Under Manage Points, you'll see a list of customers and their overall point balance. You can sort this list by customer name.
  2. Click Update to add or remove points, or set the customer's overall point balance.

Track how points are being earned and used

To view a log of points earned and redeemed per order, go to Promotion > Points & Rewards. Under Points Log, you'll see a list of customer actions that involved earning or spending points. You can sort this list by customer name.

Tip: For a simplified look at which customers earned points over a given time period, go to Insights > Analytics and choose the module to Loyalty. Here you would be able to view a variety of information such as Loyalty summary, Loyalty revenue Most popular promotions and Most used coupons
