A shipping zone is a geographic region in which you offer a certain set of shipping methods. You can create your own shipping zones in Breadstack.
When a customer places an order with your store, Breadstack matches them to one of your shipping zones using their shipping address. They'll be able to choose between the shipping methods available for that zone.
Creating a new shipping zone
- Go to Settings > Retail > Woo Settings. Select Shipping from the top ribbon then select Shipping Zones from the ribbon below.
- Click + Add Zone.
- Under General, enter a descriptive name for your zone.
- Under Zone Regions, choose a country. Then, define your zone either by state/province or by postal/zip code:
- To create a zone by state/province - Under State/Prov., choose a province or state to include in your zone. Then, click +Add on the far right side of the screen.
If your zone comprises multiple provinces or states, continue selecting them from the list and clicking +Add after each one.
- To create a zone by postal/zip code - Select Use Postal Code Instead. Type a postal or zip code under Postal Code and click +Add.
If your zone comprises multiple postal or zip codes, continue selecting them from the list and clicking +Add after each one.
- When you're done, click Save.
Editing a shipping zone
- Go to Settings > Retail > Woo Settings. Select Shipping from the top ribbon then select Shipping Zones from the ribbon below.
- Click Edit under the shipping zone you want to modify.
- Adjust the zone name, the states/provinces or postal/zip codes included, or the available shipping methods.
Adjusting shipping zone priority
You can adjust the priority ranking of your shipping zones in Settings > Shipping > Woo Settings > Shipping > Shipping Zones. Simply select the "=" sign beside a zone under the Shipping Priority column and drag it to change its position in the list.
Deleting a shipping zone
To delete a shipping zone, to to Settings > Shipping > Woo Settings > Shipping > Shipping Zones and find the zone's name in the list. Click Delete underneath the zone name.
