Setting up chat shortcuts
In Breadstack, oftentimes you might have to engage in more than one conversation to optimize engagement time to maximize efficiency, you can set your personal chat shortcut on Breadstack.
The chat shortcut is a pre-created response and can be used by one individual or everyone on the channel.
How to set up your chat shortcuts
To set up your chat shortcut, follow these steps:
Access My Account > Chat Shortcuts, click the button Add chat shortcut on the top right-hand side of the screen
Once clicked, you will have a screen similar to the picture below. Here there are 4 fields of information that you need to insert:
Type of shortcut: You have 2 options - Personal shortcut and Global shortcut. Personal shortcuts are shortcuts that can be used only by the creator (in this case, it will be you) and on the contrary, the Global shortcuts are shortcuts that everyone within your organization can use
Shortcut: The name of your shortcut. There will be a limitation of 50 characters.
Message: This will be the message of the shortcut. For example, a shortcut named “Hello” might have the content: “Hello, my name is Sarah and I’ll be your agent for today!”
Apply to: You can make the shortcut available on any of the channel(s) you work in. If you want the shortcut to be available across all channels, tick all the boxes.
When you're done with filling in the information, click Save to finalize the action. You will be directed back to My Account > Chat Shortcuts with your new shortcut displayed in the Personal/Global Shortcut section.
Searching for shortcuts
You can do a quick search of your chat shortcuts by inputting the name in the Search box located below the Add chat shortcuts button.
In addition, you can sort the list alphabetically, either by shortcut or channel. Click the list symbol on the right-hand side of your Personal/Global shortcut section. Choose the option you want and the list will be sorted accordingly.
