Creating warehouse delivery zones

Creating warehouse delivery zones

You can set up a geographic delivery zone around each warehouse.

If you have enabled local delivery as a shipping method for your organization, then activated it for a specific warehouse, it will be available to customers with delivery addresses within that warehouse's delivery zone.

Creating a warehouse delivery zone

  1. Go to Settings > Locations, choose the desired warehouse location and select Edit.
    For Greenline/Cova stores
(applicable if your store is on Cova/Greenline) or go to Settings > Storefront > Warehouse (applicable if your store is on Woocommerce and Breadstack) and click Edit underneath the warehouse name.
  2. In the top ribbon, select Local Delivery.
  3. Choose one of three options to create the delivery area:
    • Drawn Zones - This will allow you to draw the warehouse service area on a map (click + Add Zone) or import drawn zones from another warehouse in your organization (click Import Zone).
For each zone you add to the list, you can toggle the Enable function to control availability.
    • Distance Radius  - Set a maximum delivery distance around your warehouse in kilometres or miles.
    • Postal Code -  Add the postal codes this warehouse can serve (click +Add Postal Code). For each postal code you add to the list, you can toggle the Enable function to control availability.
  4. Whichever option you choose, make sure to set a Delivery Fee (dollar value or percentage of order total) and Delivery Minimum.
  5. Click Save.
